Wow, thank you so, so much for these kind words and for doing this wonderful series of Behind the Lens... It is very much appreciated! I'm afraid I have been unwell and offline as a result so I'm just coming back to Internet life after a few weeks away now! Apologies for the silence on this post!

Thank you for taking part in it, Tamzin! No need to apologize for that, health always comes first, but I'm very happy that you're starting to come back!

Thank you so much Leanna, I really appreciate that. I feel a little naked showing this side of things as I don't normally do it!

The ocean is a lure for millions of us. I completely understand her passion for the beach - it is my own as well. I could never live far from her healing shores.

Thank you so much Karen, I started doing these soul portraits for people less than two years ago, combining artwork and photography and it has been the most wonderful thing I've ever done in my career, such an honour to witness people and depict their energy how I see/feel it! This last one was an attempt at a mini-version for myself...

Wonderful to read and see. I’m a recovering person and have found out some things about myself that are quite simply assets and liabilities. Embracing myself for all these things is a life long process. I’ve had several chapters containing self-destruction and the chapter I’m experiencing now which is family and semi-wilderness and complete wilderness in Northern Maine. Music, the Arts and photography are my friends. I’ve started photographing with a Blackberry, an I-Phone and Sony DSC-RX10M4. My wife introduced me to SubStack and I’m just taking very small baby steps here. I enjoyed reading and seeing you. Have a wonderful day and week ahead as well.

Hi John, thanks so much for your comment. Baby steps on Substack is definitely the best way to go! Bit by bit and keeping front and centre your reason for being here; creativity and photography. The wilderness of Northern Maine sounds wonderful!
