Winner of Photo Challenge Week 10 - Fashion
Photo challenges are back and we've got a winner for our first one back after a months break! Low submissions, yet stunning submissions, couldn't have asked for a better start.
I knew this challenge would get low submissions as fashion can be a very complex subject, however, it can also be because people have lost interest. Only time will tell.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: This post is obviously too long for emails according to Substack, so if you want to see the post in its entirety I suggest you read it on either the Substack App or website. I highly recommend using your desktop to view it, all these submissions deserve it!
Next challenge is - June 23.
The Winner -
In terms of fashion, Flavio nailed this winning shot. If there’s one thing that never disappoints in terms of fashion, it’s the Seoul Fashion Week and Flavio displays that perfectly with this photo.
I’m honestly not into fashion, but I do love unique styles and it honestly can’t be much more unique than this. And from what I’ve seen from Seoul Fashion Week throughout the years, they never disappoint.
I don’t even know what this style is called, but I’m loving every single thing about it.
It’s adorable, gothic, epic, traditional and modern all mixed together in awesomeness. Flavio, you nailed the challenge perfectly with this shot and I couldn’t have asked for a better winning photo!
Make sure to check out Flavio’s Substack, I only take pics. You won’t regret it if you’re a fan of a lot more beautiful photos from around the world. Flavio is a travel blogger and photographer so I guarantee you’ll find some awesome photos on his Substack.

These honorable mentions are all winners, along with every single photo this week, but these ones had something special about them that I’m positive you’ll love as well.

’s submission is stunning, fashionable and beautiful all at once. It’s a well worthy fashion shot and Georgia displays her beautiful timeless dress perfectly.
Georgia is an extraordinarily talented photographer, there’s something special about her work and it’s always such a pleasure seeing a submission from her. Stunning work as always, Georgia!
If you’re on Instagram you should toss Georgia a follow, her photos are pure art and she most certainly deserve your follow.

’s photo exudes fashion shot vibes to me. The makeup, the dress, the boot and the pose are all just fantastic.
Kerani has a tendency to show over and over again just how talented of a photographer she is and this photo is no different. I love her fairytale style which shows just how much work she puts into her photos each time, always a joy seeing what kind of photo Kerani will submit for a challenge!
Check out Kerani’s Girl With Antlers newsletter while you’re here. If you’re into photography and creative writing, you’ll love her! Kerani is very talented, not just in photography, but also in writing which she constantly proves with her creative prompts.
came in with this stunning photo of this beautiful young woman in front of an incredible mural depicting John Coltrane.
It’s clear that Darin is a professional photographer as his work is always stunning and simply beautiful to look at and this photo is no different. Always top-notch work!
Darin is the winner of the Lost & Found challenge some weeks back and he continues to impress with his stunning photographs as evident with this weeks submission.
If you want more absolutely stunning photos, make sure to check out Darin’s website, his portfolio is incredible and I’ve spent far too much time browsing his galleries.
Make sure to check out Darin’s Substack, aptly named, Darin’s Substack. You won’t regret it if you’re a fan of gorgeous photos and if you want to see more of Darin’s incredible work.
’s fashion photo this week is weird, interesting and bizarre all at the same time and I’m loving it. Those sunglasses are the epitome of fun and interesting fashion pieces for me and Maia brings them to life even more in this photo.
According to Maia; she has a degree in literature and have worked with ISIS victims in Iraq, which is amazing! I know a lot of people from Iraq and they are all amazing people, always so welcoming and warm.
Currently though, Maia’s working on uncovering fraud in US spending in Afghanistan. Which, in my opinion, must be a lot of work considering how many years the US have been there and especially considering what they’ve done there.
She’s also very into poetry and have a book you can purchase. So make sure to check out her poetry collection book, And My Blood Sang.
Do not forget to subscribe to Maia and her Substack - Maia writes, while you’re at it. You’ll love her publication if you’re into poetry and magical realism.
’s submission reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood mixed with a traditional shroud like garment even if it’s not a shroud. No one has ever accused me of being good with fashion. But there’s just something with this photo that I really love.
Alexander is an award winning Ukrainian-Swedish author who has written 20+ books. Which blows my mind. Alexander is clearly a very talented individual and I highly recommend you check out his books.
Do not forget to subscribe to Alexander and his Substack - Lighthouse, while you’re at it. I guarantee you’ll find something you will absolutely love.
As always, I feature up to five runner-ups plus a winner. But, as there’s so many absolutely fantastic photos, I want to give a quick shout-out to as many as I possibly can.
Each week, I select my absolute favorite submissions for feature, accompanied by a well-deserved shout-out. For everyone else, a link to their submission will be provided. This way, I can showcase the best while ensuring all contributors receive the recognition they deserve.
This week I’ll showcase and shout out every other submission there was as there weren’t a whole lot more, but I’m loving each and every submission.
I hope to see all of you and many more in future challenges!
